Hi, I am Deon, I am Managing Director of DDG Glass Pte Ltd, and you're tuning in to MAKE IT
HAPPEN. Alone WE are strong, TOGETHER we are unstoppable!)
I would like to share with you about a challenge that I faced when I started my Session 1 Podcast.
I found that I don’t know how to start to write my script as actually I don’t want to reveal more
about myself and at the same time I worry about I am unable to speak fluently and podcast listeners
unable to understand when they listen to my podcast and I started to worry what if I am not doing
good enough, my content is meaningless and nobody listened to my podcast, I started to have many
self-fears, things turn well when my mentor Genecia Alluora and my Podcast Coach Joanne Lee did
the great communication with me, Genecia had advised me to start with the Framework that can
guide me to more effectively how to bring it out my story. The more scripts that I write the more I
am open and writing scripts problems had disappeared and when I am at the recording stage, Joanne
has put in her efforts to guide me and patiently with me as my voice is not stable and open enough
as I am not used to it, I feel great that I am managed to complete the whole session 1 with what I
want to express from my inner heart.
I feel I am fortunate that I am able to meet someone that could hold my hands with knowing what is
my blind spot when I am doing my mentorship with Genecia, both of them show me and guide me
respectively and I had managed to complete it and I feel satisfied & joyful with my improvements.
My learning lesson for Session 1 Podcast is: JUST DO IT, when some of the thinking arose,, trust my
intuition and don’t let my fears to swing me away and stuck in my previous experiences and keep
doubting myself, although I might want to protect myself, however, I learned that only when there is
a first bravely action is taken and I just able to breakthrough myself. Now my thinking is different
especially after my Session 1 podcast, I am confident to myself that what I did, in the other way,
this letting go of my ego made me explore more things that I found what I like to do and I feel happy
than previous and this lead to improve my relationship with others as well.
I am preparing for my Session 2 Podcast recording soon, which I wish to share further my
thoughts and experiences as a working mother, so that for those working mother the same as I could
apply the concepts into their daily life as well and towards balancing to their body, mind and soul.
